If you spend more time at home teleworking and in the basement, you are at greater risk of being exposed to the dangers of radon, a colorless, odorless radioactive gas. Do you really know your environment?
Make sure to measure the radon level in your home and protect your family from exposure to this still little-known gas.
According to Health Canada recommendations, the concentration should not exceed 200 becquerels per cubic meter (Bq/m³), otherwise corrective measures are necessary. The WHO recommends not exceeding 100 Bq/m³. In Quebec, 20% of tested homes exceed the recommended limit of 200 Bq/m³. The more tests conducted, the higher this percentage tends to rise.
The only way to know if mitigation measures are required is to take measurements in your home. Contact our certified team now!
