Radon is a natural radioactive gas present in the soil throughout Quebec. Invisible and odorless, it can infiltrate homes and accumulate in basements. Many homeowners are still unaware of its presence, which is common in many regions.

Installing a radon mitigation system is the recognized solution to effectively reduce concentrations in residential or commercial buildings.

The radon mitigation system is described on the product page.

When radon levels are high, the only long-term solution is to install a system that vents the gas before it enters the living space.

This type of system:

significantly reduces concentrations

operates continuously

requires little maintenance

is generally installed in one day

How does a radon system work?

A radon mitigation system is based on a simple principle:

a suction point is created under the slab

a PVC pipe is installed

a fan draws the gases

radon is expelled outside the building

This process maintains a safe level over the long term.
